Events are coming soon. We believe it is this generation that will take the gospel to the ends of the earth. It is our goal to train & equip them with the knowledge of the Word and pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit to carry them to their destiny.

First Things First (Back to Basics & New Believers)
Growing in Christ (Achieving Spiritual Maturity)
Principles of the Word (Learning to live by principle)
Jr - Sr High: currently meeting together
Elementary students: Age 4-12 separated by age groups
Nursery & Pre-School: New born to 2 and 3, 4 are provided their own class.
Prison Ministry
Coming soon! Pastor David, with 14 years of prison ministry experience will begin to take teams in to prisons across Texas.
Applications are in the foyer of the church. Please pick one up if interested. Training is required.
better know as EE, our team at The River is led by Vic Patton who takes a small group of passionate people out every Tuesday evening to apartments, houses, and anywhere else they can get a foot in the door to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a program in direct fulfillment to the great commission of Jesus "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all nations". BEGIN TODAY!
1. Admit you're in need of a savior - Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit (those in need of God)..."
2. Know that Jesus died just for you even while you were in sin - Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrated His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
3. Believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose from the dead - Romans 10:9,10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thin heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
4. Know that God will forgive every sin - 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
5. Believe that God will give you power to live for Him - John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
