THE MEN'S MINISTRY meets the last Saturday of every month at 8:30 am in the church fellowship hall for Breakfast and a time in the word.
MEN TAKE A STAND - a time for men to stand together in the sanctuary praying and crying out to God for Revival. Our homes, our churches, and our country are in desperate need of Revival. Don't miss this opportunity to get together and worship God with other men from our community.
First two "Men Take a Stand" events where successful. Men gathered together to pray, cry out to God and confess sin on behalf of themselves, our country and our churches. Miracles in families have already taken place since this gathering. God is looking for men to obey. An accelerated HARVEST is awaiting all those who will "diligently seek the Lord". God forgive us and pour out your spirit once again is our prayer.
HONORBOUND CHAMPIONS - take the challenge that other men are taking around the globe. Become a Minister to men. Join the Men's Network "Honorbound Champions" along with other men from The River.
HB Champions is a formation of men who desire to grow in their relationship with God and become more fully equipped in ministering to men. It is grounded in biblical and men's relational resources that will train and prepare men toward being commissioned as a HB Champion.
As an HB Champion, Men will:
- Grow in their relationship with Christ.
- Be equipped in being a stronger friend, husband, father and leader.
- Be empowered as a soul winner.
- Develop personal disciplines & character in becoming the man of God they where created to be.

CHAMPIONS BIBLE STUDY - Sunday evenings at 6pm Joe (Bubba
) Summerlin is leading men through the study by Ed Cole "Never Quit" which offers real, sensible solutions to contemporary changes and crises. It teaches men what to do in crisis, ten steps to leave the old and enter the new, and how to transform crisis into overwhelming success.The group is meeting in the church Fellowship Hall. Open to all Men.
MEN TAKE A STAND - Saturday, October 11th, 7pm, Join other Men as we stand together in the sanctuary and pray for Revival in our community and across our land. This meeting might be one the most important events in our country. The Presidential election in November will be affected by how we pray. God hears the cry of His people. Jer. 33:1-3
BEGIN TODAY!
1. Admit you're in need of a savior - Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit (those in need of God)..."
2. Know that Jesus died just for you even while you were in sin - Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrated His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
3. Believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose from the dead - Romans 10:9,10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thin heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
4. Know that God will forgive every sin - 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
5. Believe that God will give you power to live for Him - John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
